limewire wont start
 

i downloaded limewire about 10 times by now and it still wont open.. i used to have it but then i deleted it...but now i really really need it again. every time when i try to open it, it will start to work, but then it wont open the window... i really dont know what is the problem here but i think that it might have to do with the port.
please somebody must help me...

as soon as possible because i want to have a party and i dont have any songs!!!

I suspect you have a Java problem.

Follow the first two links in this thread, also ensuring that Limewire is completely removed , before installing/restoring Java. Then reinstall Limewire from the offline (alternative) installer.
