 If you have access to the cable modem interface, be sure to turn off the firewall as the router is more appropriate for that. Also, UPnP won't make games run slower and all, in fact it might help some (be sure UPnP is on). Also, I hope you do not connect throught your modem with USB. Ethernet port is more stable, faster. Ciao
