Videos need to be imported manually, whilst audio can load automatically.

Just find the video files in the download folder and either drag them to iTunes or use the add to library feature in iTunes. It is quite simple ... so I've been just told by an expert :)

its not working... i cant drag them over and i cant find the files when i click add files to library

The files need to be mpeg 4 to import to iTunes or iPod. Nothing else will import. Not mpeg1 or 2, or avi, etc. H.264 is a high quality mpeg 4 format that can import into both. If you can't import a video into iTunes, then you definitely won't be able to import it into iPod!

If the files won't import, then you'll need to convert them. See both Videos for iPod/iTunes & also these iTunes Tutorial http://www.apple.com/support/itunes...rial/index.html

is mpeg short for mpeg 4?

Lord of the Rings February 4th, 2006 06:21 PM

No !!! Mpeg can be mpg also. Mpeg can be either mpeg 1, 2 or 4. (there are more but rarely used at this point.) Mpeg 2 is used for dvd & svcd & mpeg 1 is used for vcd normally. mpeg 4 is a more efficient format then the ealier versions!
