Opening Limewire
 

Okay, I have a huge problem. I have recently downloaded Basic limewire and I have installed it and everything.

But when I go to open it... It doesn't open. The mouse turns into a timer and then goes back to the regular mouse pointer.

Limewire doesn't open whenever I try and open it. What is going on?

1. Use your add/remove control panel to remove java & any other version you find listed. Then downld the "Offline" version here Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

2. Delete your LW Preferences folder; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.)

3. Connection problems? Check here first! & make sure you're properly set up for firewall & modem/router. If your device supports UPnP then make sure it's enabled!

4. Then downld & install the "Offline" LW version here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
