an error occured while downloading. . .
 

when i try to start installing limewire 1.8, when its at the 'prepareing to install screen' a window pops-up up that says ' An error occured while downloading file http:/www.installengine.com/msiengine/itstmsia.exe what would you like to do
retry cancel

no matter how many times i retry it never works! the same screen pops up!

With most install problems, I would just make sure you have the most recient version of the java runtime environment installed. Also, try closing any antivirus software before you try to install. They sometimes think installs are viruses and deny them acess to your computer. I know it's not much to go off, but i hope its somewhat helpful.
