Limewire issues

I have 2 problems with limewire.

1. When i start the program i can't maximize it, or change the window size. (not that big of a problem)

2. When i close LW the program will close, but right after my computer freezes... and sometimes (if i don't restart the PC) it will go to BSOD after a few minutes.
