firewall problem hey.....i cannot dload or even search anything because of the firewall....although i put it in the list of exceptions it didnt change at all ....how to deactivate it??? Someone pls!! Thank You. |
It might not be your software firewall but might be your modem/router that's the problem. Make sure you have enabled UPnP on your device, or if it doesn't have UPnP abilities, manually forward a port; instructions for all of these are here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) |

You haven't told me about your set up & devices & what firewalls you have, but follow the entire page on the link I gave you. Ensure you don't have 2 softw firewalls active. And if your modem does have UPnP already enabled, then perhaps it doesn't work well in UPnP mode. Port forwarding instructions are on the page link I gave earlier. |
