Did you install Java over the net "online" or use the "offline" version & 1st downld the installer to your computer before installing. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...421#post196421

You might also consider Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! for files less than 100 KB or zero % downlded.

This may or may not apply to you but worth seeing 1. See The way to fix the Blank screen on startup, & also 2. GeoForce 3D setting
