Default CPU 100% again???

I have had some great help off the guys on here with a big LW problem I had last week.. Nearly fixed now, in fact I thought it was, then another gremlin in the system appears.

I find that I can start LW up and all works well for 10 minutes or so, then LW uses 100%CPU for some reason????

I have read other topics on this but can't really find what Im looking for, or how to overcome this problem?? I seem to be pointed towards a Java problem? Well, the only thing I know about Java is how to spell it....

If anyone can offer simplified advice on how to fix the problems I would be extremely grateful, or, if anyone can direct me to a relevant topic, I can try to understand it, then try to fix problem

I am using LW 4.18.8 Pro (I tried 5 and couldn't get on with it at all, thats when the problems started, so reverted back to the easier format)

Thanks in advance for any help

Richb

Just spent last hour following instruction to uninstall all java then reinstall it..... Again, LW worked as it should for 5-10 minutes, then used up 100%CPU..

Time to give up I think... Maybe get some satisfaction if I launched this piece of plastic and wires up the garden!

EDIT;

Right, I turned LW off, then restarted in the hope it may of miraculously fixed....... And it has!!?????? Maybe the threat of being launched up the garden done it??? Have NO idea why or how its now ok????????

lol good to hear. I wonder if the reboot did the trick. I do believe you should reboot after installing Java to get it into action properly. Regardless, glad to hear.
