Limewire Problem
 

Everytime I open limewire it will go through the loading screen at the very begining, open, but then it just closes in 1 or 2 seconds. I unistalled it and re-installed it but it still does the same thing. Any suggestions? Thanks!

1. Open your add/remove control panel & remove all versions of Java.

2. Install Java 1.6 beta from here http://java.sun.com/javase/6/download.jsp & choose the JRE "Offline" version which is a 15.72 MB downld.

3. Delete your LW preferences, which will be either in step 2 or 3 here (try both) Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

If still problems, try changing the LW compatibility mode to either win 2000 or NT.
