T3 Connection - 0.0kb/s I have Limewire Pro and I have T3 connection. I have never had these problems before. I have been downloading a file and it's on 83% and it stops there. It is downloading from 10 hosts and this file and other download is downloading from 10 host and on T3 connection (TurboCharged) and it stays at 0.0KB/s. My computer slows down too whenever I open Limewire. Help |
Like any process, Limewire may slow down your computer some. I am guessing either it lost sources, or there was a corruption. I would suggest just leaving it running for a long time and just see what happens. Maybe it will eventualy start to download again or it will give you a reason as to why it's not downloading. |
It is downloading but with no speeds. It has 10 host and was download 60KB/s last time, now its 0KB/s all of them WTF |
Are you fully connected? Do you see the firewall icon? Can you download a file from here http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml How long have you been getting zero speed? What are your details? OS(Win XP etc) LW & Java version (help > about LW & you'll see) Firewall you're using Modem/router brand & model ISP Connection type (DSL etc) Where you connect from (home, school etc) Are you sharing a connection with other computers Is this your first try with LW |
Quote:
LW: LimeWire Pro 4.10.9 Java: Latest build Firewall: Norton Firewall (Not interfering with Limewire) Modem: Linksys 802.11g 54MB/s ISP: T3 Business connection Connection Type: T3 Connected at home I have been using LimeWire I can download http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml in few seconds |
Re slowing down your computer: Disable ultrapeer capabilities (tools > options > speed. Apply) Reduce your upload & download bandwidth a little. The sudden drop in download speeds usually points to an institution or ISP blocking p2p or using traffic shaping. Are you sure that your company hasn't decided to block p2p apps? Try deleting the preferences folder (with LW closed) Fixes for LimeWire |
Sure I am sure. I own the business of the company and my ISP is I don't know. But it starts out 100KB/s then after 10 seconds it rapidly goes down to 0 |
