shortcut to shared
 

i want to place a shortcut on my desktop to my shared file in limewire. i can copy the file to my desktop, but what iwant(and had w/ a previus version) is a shortcut on my desktop.

Just right click on your shared folder and select Send to and then select Desktop...;)

i wished that worked. i have version 4.10.9 and when you right click on the shared folder in library in limewire it says 1)stop sharing folder 2)share new file 3)share new folder 4)configure sharing options. any suggestions?

You have to do this outside of Limewire...
Go to your HD
Docs and setts
User name
Shared.....;)

i'm sorry, i just recently bought this computer and am new to windows xp. what do you mean by docs and setts? iknow my documents but where exactly ? thank you.

By default your downlds are saved here (unless you changed it): C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared
Go to your C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\ & create a short-cut for Shared & send it to desktop.

Another way to access it: For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you.

i wanted to say that the second way of going to library,shared, explore, worked and i got my short cut:)
