automatic shut down

In Win. 2000 I double click on the icon and then it will appear and then shut down right away. And i have already searched for any spy-ware and i have none.

Perhaps it is just that the point! If you removed (or some program did) the spyware bundled with Limewire it will automatically shut down as a result.
