Gnutella Forums - Limewire has gone crazy

Ok here is the deal. I have been using limewire for a while, out of nowhere I get this odd problem.

when I first start up limewire everything is fine.
as soon as I go to search for ANYTHING it tweaks out. the text disapears and jumps around mosf of the menus will not show up unless you rollover them and even then they are sometimes not even there. I am not saying that the buttons are not working but I cant see them.

basically the files list on the screen after you search does not work properly. like I said they jump around along with the icons. like I mean they REALLY jump around within the limewire window.

This is a problem that I have tried to fix in a million diff ways

I checked fire walls
I checked java update
I checked my files
I checked for bug fixes
and last but not least I have been surfing the web for about 4 hours trying to fix this problem and to no avail.

if it helps I am running

XP pro with amd athlon 4800, running nvidia 6600 on SLI

I am planning to get limewire PRO if I can fix this untill then... I dont think thats going to happen.
