 Thank you for your suggestions. I don't seem to have a preference folder in my.limewire folder. My java is updated to the latest version. I will try to uninstall norton though and see if that helps. Thanks again for your help   |

| Not having a preference folder is impossible AFAIK. Search your computer using " .limeiwre " (and yes, the dot before the name has to be there). You can also read here on how to find the folder: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...imewire+folder
