I have had limewire for about a year now and never had any problems until i tried to open it the other day. I clicked on the icon on my desktop and this grey screen appeared and in the middle it said "generating preview" for a second and then it said "no preview available" and then the screen stayed grey. And for some reason windows picture and fax viewer is being used to open it. I have been on these forums seaching for an answer but this grey screen seems to be a little different than the other ones that people have been getting. If anyone knows what is going on please help.

I would guess that you by accident have set the Windows Picture and Fax viewer as default for opening .exe files.

Should be fixable be right-clicking on the Limewire .exe file and choosing (hmm I don't really know what's being used to run .exe files)

(edit: Scratch that. I just tried it and the option to open with isn't there, only "run as" instead. Don't know then. Sorry)
