serious help needed
 

Hey everyone

So i downloaded LimeWire, installed it. I tried to open it, and it just completely freezes once I open it basically right when it gets to the Setup Dialog thing.

I tried the suggestions under the FAQ about re-installing the Java and whatnot, but it still freezes.

Any help???

Did you make sure to reinstall Java using it's offline installer? Try removing your version of Java, reinstall JRE using the offline installer

Now reinstall LW using it's offline installer (it'll uninstall the old version automatically)

yeah i tried all of that, it didnt work, it still freezes at startup, just simply goes blank
