Not sure if this is the right forum but...

Right now Im currently downloading a movie (*******), and whenever I try to preview this movie my windows media player comes up but then it says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." can some one tell me what to do? thanks for the help!

Download the free VLC player. It has built-in codecs and plays almost all media files without problem...:

I installed it but when th vlc media player comes up theres no screen, how do I get the screen?

To preview a file with it you have to choose it directly out of the Incomplete folder. Go there and right click the file. Choose "Open with.." then choos the VLC player.
If it can't play the file then it is most likely a faked file....

you still there fool of the hill?

foolofthehill August 14th, 2006 07:16 AM

No, I'm not still there, but I'm already back........
The Incomplete folder is where your saved folder is.
Go LW>Library and on the right click on the saved folder and then in the left bottom line "Explore", that will open the saved folder. In the address line of the open folder you see where this folder is and the Incomplete should also be at that location.
