You sound like you have downloaded yourself a virus...
We advise members to go to Norbiesworld as he will help you get rid of it...
This thread will give you some info on viruses and at the bottom is the link to Norbiesworld...;)

i have an antivirus but everytime i scan my comp.. there's no virus detected..

wondering why August 15th, 2006 03:05 AM

Alot of the AVs dont pick this sort of thing up though...
Just sign up at Norbiesworld and get a check up just in case...
Generally when Limewire opens itself up that means a virus and if it was a program you downloaded, it cant be trusted as most of them are full of viruses...
What size was the file you downloaded, the one that wont delete...

essence20 August 15th, 2006 03:09 AM

only 171kb... the filename is onoes.exe ...the filename in limewire when i downloaded it was o*** i think.. i thought it was o***.. darn..

I dont mean to be a pain but could you edit out the names of the files, we cant name copyrighted files on the forum...:)
It definatley sounds like a virus, the file is not big enough to be a program...
Stay away from the programs and games they cant be trusted, if you still want to try check them with Bitzi click on link
But I would definatley suggest you go and see Norbie, it's free also...:)

i also have this onoes.exe showing up constantly. i have uninstalled everything from my computer that has to do with limewire and im still getting this message that the installation process has some corrupt files in it.

this is clearly an illegal attempt to extort money to join the pro limewire. computer espionage is a serious crime and your whole ****n company will be shut done if you dont get rid of this ****.
