LimeWire Uninstallation Trouble

Right. So, one day, out of the blue, I got this message while trying to access LimeWire:

Keep in mind that LimeWire had been working long before this occurred. I attempted to fix the problem by reinstalling the program, but the bug persisted. I e-mailed the address it lists, but that did nothing.

Finally, I decided that it wasn't worth it, and I attempted to uninstall it, and even though there's no visible evidence of LimeWire still existing on my computer, the error message above continues to appear regularly every few seconds no matter what I do. Can anyone help me with this?

How did you try to uninstall LW? The correct way is via start > all progs > LW > uninstall. Uninstalling through add/remove programs can cause problems.
You could try reinstalling LW, then uninstalling it the right way. Have you used the computer's search to find & delete all LW files?

The popping up thing sounds a bit suss, you could have a virus. If you go to Norbiesworld, register & follow the directions for free computer help then Norbie will check out your computer. If you do have a virus, he'll be able to help you remove it;)
