Downloads taking too long

It used to take 2 to 3 min. for me to download a song and all of a sudden im lucky if I can a song in 3 hours. What can I do to make my limewire working again? I'm thinking about uninstalling limewire and then reinstalling it will that help at all?

im not really sure on much i know i have a firewall i tried removing that and it didn't help i have dsl modem and that's about all i know

And with your modem/Router what is the Brand and Model number...(look under the modem the info should be there)...

Have you configured windows to allow Limewire ??
What security do you use to protect your computer ??

Go to your contol panel and select security center > select windows firewall > select the exeptions tab...

I checked your modem paradyne mvl modem model number 6310-a1-200
and it's not listed on the Port Forward site...I was reading the forum there and in a response to someones question they said that if a modem isn't listed on their site it wouldn't have a firewall problem...

Do this Port test

Also who is your Internet Service Provider....
