Yes, I have seen it say "client" under the protocol header on the connections tab on many of the connections. I don't know if this helps at all, but sometimes, it also says "leaf". What does leaf mean? Are there any other terms that are used besides ultrapeer, 0.4, and leaf?

That's definitely not good if you are seeing leaf connections and you are a modem. The protocol options are only 0.4, ultrapeer, and leaf. Your status on the lower left should be either "client" or "UltraPeer."

Thanks again.

Just to follow up on the memory issue, we've been doing some heavy profiling of LimeWire to identify the bottlenecks, and Chris in particular has solved a whole lot of them. The final beta release of LimeWire 2.0 should exhibit significantly better memory usage and should also be lighter on the CPU.

Let us know if anyone still experiences issues in this area with the latest beta.

Thanks.
