How did you uninstall LW? The correct way to uninstall is via start > all programs > LW > use the uninstall option. Uninstalling through add/remove programs can lead to problems.

Use the computer's search to look for any LW files & folders, delete them manually. The other option's to reinstall LW again (this will uninstall the previous version) then uninstall the right way.

*Is the error message popping up randomly? Were you ever having problems with LW popping up & refusing to stay closed? I'm asking because there's a virus with these symptoms.
