I have used Spybot and Adaware SE with LW for over two years now and they have never, ever attacked, deleted or changed any part of LW. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that these two well respected and used anti-spyware apps are the cause of your problem.

Tell me, are you a member of AOL and do you use their anti-spyware app?

Yes, I am a member of AOL, but do not use much. I use Roadrunner and Firefox. I was using Spybot and Adaware.

I do not use anyother anti-spyware from AOL or anyone else. I agree that Adaware are Spybot should be causing a problem. But I stopped using just to test it, and Lime Wire still was uninstalled. No trace of it except the shortcut on my Desktop. Very strange indeed. Is there any log that can be checked to see what is going on?
