omg plz help me limewire isnt working 4 me...PLZ help me ASAP..thx
 

ok well i've had problems with lime wire and when i downloaded it everything was fine unitl i opend it and it said:

"one or more necessary files appear to be invalid. This generally caused by a corrupted installation. Please try downloading and installing LimeWire again. If the problem persists, please visit limewire.com and click 'Support' link."

and i already did all of that and nothing worked. i tried 2 delete every file on my computer that had 2 do with limewire but only one of them doesn't delete and it's called "GenericWindowsUtils.dll" and when i press the delete button it says "Cannot delete GenericWindow: access is denied. Make sure this disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. "

belive me i did make sure all of this was done. sooo please help me with this cuz i tried 2 use bearshare and i thought it was stupid and i love limewire it's soo easy 2 use 4 my Ipod nano.

How did you attempt to remove LW? Did you use the add/remove control panel? If yes, then that was the wrong way. The way to do it was Start menu > Programs > LW > Uninstall. BTW reinstalling LW will uninstall the previous version.
