After Download .wmv won't play on my computer??

Everytime I download a WMV file, successfully and when I go to play it on my comptuer, it comes up with a popup, Need Liscense, and when I click on the Lisence it downloads a file, GETPLAYER.EXE, Which is a game. I have WinAmp and can play other files but not from Limewire? Any clues?

A suggestion is to try and go for avi or mpg files and if you have problems with them on Win Amp, either get Codecs for it or use the vlc player which can be downloaded from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

You can search the forums for keyword such as wmv or codecs, using the search button above.
