Plz HELP!!! Whats going with my limewire.
 

Ok, my limewire was working, i have the basic version and everytime i opened it, it won't open nothing happens. i went 2 the limewire support website & they said to uninstall java and reinstall java and i did that and its still not working i unistall limewire and then reinstall limewire & its still not working, i am using windows xp and i need any help that i can get cos i really miss limewire.

Did they tell you to make sure to use the Java offline installer?

Make sure to remove your old Java version before installing the new one.

You could try deleting LW's preferences folder, see points 2 & 3 below

You could also try changing compatibility to Win 2000 or NT, that's point 5 above.

If you need to reinstall LW, make sure to use the offline installer, not the recommended (online) one:)

Have you added or updated any antispyware or security programs recently? Just make sure that LW's on the list of exceptions/allowed apps if this is the case.

I am having problems this morning also.
My limewire disconnects itself every few minutes.
I have to keep clicking on connect.
Any clues anyone please?

ok..

so my limewire is messed up..

i opens and searches the songs i want and stuff..

but when i go to downlad the file .

i click on download right?

and it doesnt do any thing!


please help me!
