Default Need Help With Pro

i got pro here recently and i am having problems with it running. I open it but then, when the little box opens up and the little bar that moves across back and forth it doesnt show up, then the box just closes. any ideas y?

Update your Java. Download the offline installer for JRE (point 1 in the thread below).
Fixes for LimeWire
Remove your current version of Java before installing the new one.

Delete LW's preferences folder (points 2 & 3 above).

Now reinstall LW.

If those fixes don't help, try changing compatibility (point 5 above).

Go to the forum section that you want to post in. In the top left corner you'll see the New Thread button. Click on that to post a new thread. Try using the forum search first, in case your question's been answered.

Have you been able to use LW before without a problem?
What security or antispyware programs are you using? Some antispyware will see LW as a threat & stop it from working. Make sure LW's on the list of exceptions/allowed apps of your security programs.

Did you make sure to install Java first, then reinstall LW?
Did you have any problems finding the preferences folder (sometimes people can't find it as it's a hidden folder)?

Your Pro is an official version from www.limewire.com right??

yes i have been able to use LW before, i got a virus so i took LW off and now it wont work any ideas
