![]() I am not sure where I should post this, so I choose here. When I load LW, my mouse becomes completely decorative. It will hover and highlight but won't allow me to click anything. Has anyone had this happen or know how I can go about fixing it. (FYI: I posted a similar thread in Technical Support > Installation but I figured since this isn't an install mishap I would post here.) Thanks in advance for any suggestions. |

![]() We don't know whether you updated your Java & deleted the preferences folder, as LOTR suggested in your first thread??? See if any links in the post below help http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...63&postcount=2 If not, use the forum search to see if you can find any other old threads. |

![]() CNC You have not said, in either postings, if your mouse is different from the normal (corded, 2 buttoned, thumb-wheeled and ball underneath) mouse. For example, do you have a cordless, an optical mouse or some other specialist variant? If so, you may have to adjust your mouse settings (if it has any), re-install your mouse driver or you may have found a real incompatibility between LW and your particular mouse. ![]() OK CNC Now we could be getting somewhere. Now think back, before your mouse problem started, did you upgrade your mouse driver? If not, then did you adjust or play with any of the Logitech's mouse settings? Chances are that either you or someone who shares your PC has upset the balance between LW and your mouse, you will have to do a little detective work to find out what has been changed and then reset everything back to it's original points. Which possible means that you may have to re-install your (original) mouse driver, only after deleting what ever you now have. UK Bob |

![]() That's just it. Nothing was done. No settings had changed. Everything just stopped working. And, it's not just LW. It's all my Java based wares. Java Console I can't click anything either. I've uninstalled my drivers for my mouse, it's actually the same one as my keyboard which operates properly with Java programs. I've deleted/uninstalled all LW and Java programs and reinstalled them with nothing changing. I've scanned registries and cleaned them of anything defective. It's utterly mindboggling. Java has noted the issue but has no solution as of yet. |
