 Try updating your Java (point 1 below). Make sure to use the offline JRE installer & remove your current version of Java before installing the new one. Fixes for LimeWire You could also try deleting LW's preferences folder when LW's closed (points 2 & 3 above). There are a few more links to mouse problems in the thread below, too.
