I have downloaded, installed and configured Limewire according to the instructions I have read throughout this site. However, when I do a search within Limewire (it makes no difference if it is All Media or one specifically) I get absolutely no hits at all, nothing, zilch.
Please let me know what can be done to resolve this issue.

Yes, I have read those links. I have configured my modem/router, turned of Windows Firewall. Still nothing, so here is my info:

1. OS version? Windows XP Home SP2
2. What firewalls you have? Windows (turned off) Modem (configured for upnp)
3. How much ram? 512
4. Hard Disk space available? 50.5 GB
5. Connection type? Verizon DSL
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Westell Versalink D90-327W15-06
7. Where are you trying to connect from? Home
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. LW 4.12.6 JAVA 1.5.0_06
9. Who is your isp provider (Internet Service Provider)? Verizon
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. This computer connects directly to the modem/router. There are two other computers that share a wireless connection.
11. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. First time
12. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? It states "Your test worked!"
13. Try and download a magnet file from here and see what speed you get for it, then post the result as well:http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml
Within LW, under 'status' it states "need more sources".
