Can't Play downloaded files

I've downloades some movies from lime wire but i can't play em..i have checked my player and it can play the file the movies are in but it still arn't any picture..just sound..and i have downloaded the movie i'm sure of that..what can be wrong??

Probably a codec problem. Try the VLC media player. See this thread: CODECs list for Movies /Alternate players / Video help forums.
