Not with the information you have provided.

Can you give us a total description of your set up:
1. OS version? (Eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Any error messages

Ummmmm.....There is no error message, i have windows XP version 2002, i just have a norton firewall and the basic one that comes installed, 448mb of RAM, and i have no clue how much space is available T_T Sorry

Bump....? I really need help on this since I want to figure out if this is caused by a virus or if limewire just isnt compatible with my computer.

Open the task manager by pressing and holding Ctrl+Ala then pressing delete and see how much ram and cpu you are using and what programs are using it. The odds are you probably have allot of programs running and it is using up all of you available memory (Ram)

Well...I tried it cept it didnt work....Can anyone think of a possible solution?

Grandpa November 20th, 2006 07:18 PM

Do yo mean you couldn't open the task manager. If you could not open the task manager you have a virus.

No, I opened the task manager, but when i deleted some processes to lower the usuage, limewire still froze my computer....

Quite frankly Junior Member Chaos0619

You have not given enough information for anybody to work on, remember that the forum volunteers do not possess crystal balls or can read minds so you must provide information that can be factored into providing a picture of your problem.

Therefore, provide the following info asked for in this URL:http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=62652
