 Did you disable your XP built in firewall prior to installing Norton?? One thing you could try is to delete the LW prefence folder. Read here on how to delete this folder (Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire) http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36420 Afterwards reboot your computer

| still doesn't work My max search is set to 5 already. When I went to magnetmix.com I was able to download from there. Bearshare also worked but I'm not really a big fan of it. I prefer Limewire and since it was working previously, I would like to get it working again. I also tried deleting the preferences and that didn't work either. My windows firewall has been turned off since my norton one has been turned on. Is there anything else you can think of to help me? Thanks! |
