Crashed Sharepro360 replaced with limewire basic now I can't access my old library

so how do I send all the old downloads to the new folder I have set for audio saving? Also why didn't I get the Limewirepro to replace the old Sharepro 360.

Because 360 comes from a scam site. It's a copy of the code of an earlier version of LW. And these people who you paid money to have tricked you into thinking you were getting LW pro. Membership? - **WARNING**- Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites (click on link). And also see page 5.

I'm sure sharepro360 will be able to help you. After all, you paid for their support.

We support the "real" programs that are designed by the original programmers, not copy-cat scam programs. Or sites that try to pass off LW Basic as LW Pro.

However, we will try to help if we can. See How to Change download location (click on link)

BTW the reason the downloads won't continue is because the program crashed. LW will continue the downloads if it crashes. But unfortunately it won't continue your older ones. That's because it comes from an old version of LW technology which may even have some notable differences also.

Help!!

When I got sharepro360, I did not know it was a 'fake'. I had always had problems getting Sharepro up before, but now with my new computer...it never comes up. I decided, after no response from technical support, to download limewire but it has the same problems. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times and check my version of Javascript and made sure it was installed properly. I cannot get it to come up. What is wrong?

Hi tygrrness,
Do you mean that LW won't open when you click on the icon?

Try these (I know you've reinstalled before but humour me:p):

First of all, reinstall Java. Use the JRE offilne installer, see point 1 below. Remove your current Java version before you install the new one
Fixes for LimeWire

Next, delete LW's preferences folder. See points 2 & 3 above & check to see if you have a folder in both locations. Remember to show hidden files & folders.

Now reinstall LW & make sure to use the offline installer (not the recommended one).

If none of those help, try changing compatibility. That's point 5 in the fixes thread.

If LW still won't open, maybe you're using a security program that's causing probs. For example, some antispyware will see LW as a threat & stop it from opening. Make sure LW's on the list of exceptions/allowed apps for all of your security programs;)

I did it!!

Thats weird. The same day I posted that 'help', I decided to delete all my music download programs, clear my cache and verify my Java was the newest version. When I restarted my computer, I turned off my AntiVirus and logged into LW.com and downloaded the Pro (which I already bought). IT WORKED! lol. so your info would have been perfect, if I got it sooner. lol. I wish I found this forum sooner. Thanks for your help hon.
