 McAffee and Adaware Thanks Steve, I tried Adaware, removed all the Cydoor references and uninstalled and reinstalled. Still had the problem. So I did a manual uninstall of McAfee and then a reinstall. Still have the problem. I also note that I no longer get the Scheduled Tasks icon in my system tray. Could these problems be related since the VirusScan when working would also load in the system tray and scan in the background?  |
