Any way to save files to a shared folder on a network drive?

I recently set up a home network consisting of two computers. I thought it would be convenient to store and share downloaded LW files on one computer.

I tried to change the saving location in the options menu by browsing to the shared folder icon on my notebook computer to save DL files on the shared My Documents on Bedroom Computer folder icon on my desktop, but I could only get as far as the shared network folder. No shared folders under that showed up in the browse window, including the one I save LW files to. Why not? Any ideas on how to save and share files in LimeWire across a network?

My apologies if this issue has already been addressed in a different thread, but I couldn't find anything relevent. Please post a link if this is so.

Thanx for any help!!
