Arrow LW freezing up

Lately I've noticed LW freezing up after a half hour or so of use and the only thing I can do is close with task manager and then restart it when it use to run ok.Also I've noticed a small window popping up on the left hand side of the screen just for a second and then it closes, not enough time to see what it is. Any ideas on what is causing it to freeze up??

Thanx for helping
I'm using LW Pro 4.12.3 and Java 1.5.0_09 and it's set at 3 uploads per person & max upload slots is set at 20.

How many files are you sharing, & how many files are in your incomplete folder?

Koalakid.
Please answer Question,? What connection speed do you have. [Post reply]
It matters a lot.
If you have 50.KBs UPload or less. Set MAX to 8 or less. unless you have a fast connection 22 MAX is too High.
Also take a good look at the link Lord of the Rings has given you its good advice.
Peace.

mickjapa & LOTR,
I have about 50kbs upload speed and I have 7 files in my incomplete folder at the moment. I say 50 kbs as an estimate - I've never seen it go higher than that.I've just dropped the max to 5 and I'll see how it goes.
THANX.

Incomplete folder, sometimes dosent auto clear prevewed files
