NO search results
 

I have been having major issues with LW for about 2 weeks now. I can play my songs, but when I search for new material it ends with NO results...........my search ends with nothing, what is wrong?

Do you see a brickwall in front of the globe....

no, there's no brick wall, nothing has changed on my computer during the time LW worked just fine until it stopped:bangh:

did all that and nothing...........well I take that back, although there is not a brick wall in front of the globe it says limewire has detected a firewall.........now what?

It's AOL, it's been the same the whole time.................it's crazy

Ahhh, they seem to have some sneaky tactics...They tend to shape p2p at certain times of the day....

So what can I do about it? I have no problems on any other site except LW? How can I fix it?

Change ISPs, that's the only thing you can do, or work out the times they don't shape and do your downloading then...:(

Thanks for your time, I just don't understand why it's giving me fits now and it hasn't for the past year or so.................maybe I can try searching at different times for now until my contract agreement with them is up..........thank you again

sorry one more thing, does it matter that I am dial-up?

I'd give them a call and tell them that you are having troubles, they may have a solution for you, or they could blow you off...Just remember you have a right to know if they are shaping or throttling p2p....:rolleyes_2:
