Houston, we have a problem... Dear Dim Bulbs, We know that we should have to take our shoes off and bow down to the "forum gods" for their infinite wisdom, and sarcasm. The part that you just do not seem to understand, is that we actually DO NOT want to have to deal with you, like AT ALL!! We would actually prefer to deal with the other pinheads, at Slimewire, the people whom we actually paid our "ONE TIME FEE" to. We would like an actual email address and a phone number, to resolve issues, like double billing, or other "BUSINESS" or operation issues, without having to deal with volunteers and amateurs, with their greater than thou attitude. If this was Microsoft, or any other company that you pay money to, do you think there is a forum there? No, you actually get to talk to a person who is "employed" by the company, not some overbearing "moonie" incapable of actually getting anything resolved. If your forum was a fan based, little club of wierdo's, well that would be fine, but to be defaulted to here, and have to try to BUSINESS, with you louts, is staggering in it's incompetence. Please, if you need to be really clear on this, have an adult read this to you s-l-o-w-l-y, very s-l-o-w-ly! Lord of the Retards |
You're as charming today as you were the last time "yeawhoever"...... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=64418 http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=51546 Why don't you troll somewhere else..... :Smilywais: |
There actually IS a mention http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml Do you see the part where it says "Get PRO for a single payment of only $18.88" Ummmm...does it say you pay every six months? Does it say we promise "ZERO" customer support? Does it say we have to deal with a forum and not actual customer support? What do you think Get PRO for a single payment of only $18.88 actually implies? Slimewire, should be class actioned out of it's fraudulent existence, Do let us know where you will be commadeering next so we will know where to come to for comic relief. Maybe you can start a forum for the rick astley fan club, it would be a nice fit. Have a nice day. Lord of the Retards |
1 Attachment(s) Can't you read? It says "Free updates for up to 6 months" Attachment 3225 And what else do you think happens after the end of the 6 months? duh! Besides, repurchasing gets a discount as long as it's within their offer period of a month. |
You seem to read only what suits your rants..... Q: How much does LimeWire cost? A: LimeWire BASIC is completely free to download and use. An enhanced version of LimeWire, LimeWire PRO, is also available for a one time charge. LimeWire PRO can be purchased as an electronic download only. LimeWire is a software application. The one-time payment for LimeWire PRO is a payment to purchase a copy of the program. PRO purchasers also receive Technical Support via email and up to 6 months of free updates. You will not be charged again by Lime Wire after your initial purchase. After 6 months, PRO users have the option to purchase an additional 6 months of technical support and free updates for a reduced price. http://www.limewire.org/wiki/index.p...d_Questions#i2 Q: How do I get in touch with a customer service representative? A: The best way to contact our representative is by filling out the 0nline form. We are only able to respond to emails from LimeWire PRO customers. http://www.limewire.org/wiki/index.p...estions#lwpro4 Q: How do I download the latest version of LimeWire without having to pay again? A: If you purchased LimeWire PRO within the last 6 months, you can check for your personal download page by going to our LimeWire PRO support page. If you still find that you need help, you can contact a support representative. http://www.limewire.org/wiki/index.p...estions#lwpro2 :Smilywais: |
Never Argue With An Idiot. Dear Dimwit, Never Argue With An Idiot. They Will Drag You Down To Their Level, Then Beat You With Experience" Were truer words ever spoken? Why does Slimewire NOT want to have customer support? Oh sorry, if I buy Slimewire again, and again, and again, I will have customer support. ONE TIME FEE means ONE TIME FEE you freaking crackhead! Imagine having to buy Windows xp every six months, or any and every piece of software you have EVER purchased. The ONLY reason I bothered to purchase Slimewire was to respect the company, and be a part of their future. IF someone had told me about the dog and pony show that people HAVE to deal with to be a part of this future, Slimewire would be residing in the "where are they now file" in Spades. Ummm..what is the URL for your rick astley site? How much is it to join, and how often does one pay? Have a safe and pleasant journy to your "other" job, and please go easy when you are salting the french fries ok. Lord of the Retards |
Yep, thank you for reminding me that I shouldn't argue with you.... As I said already in my first post,.....why don't ya troll somewhere else....:rolleyes_2: :Smilywais: |
If you bought MS Office 98 & later wanted MS Office 2001, then you'd need to repurchase/upgrade. MS support for such products afaik is only for a stated period of time. Same as most software products. So I'm not sure what planet you step off from. It's now almost 12 months of crap we've been getting from you & we've had enough dip sh*t. As I suggested in a previous thread, if you don't like it then scram. Go to Bearshare pro or something. :rofl2: |

mr retard i'm new here interesting thread ... seems you have a need to complain look, you're getting awesome technology dirt cheap they've managed to keep it dirt cheap by running it with low overhead get a grip |
Let me first state, "I bow to no man". I do not use this forum unless I absolutely have to; however, when I have requested help or information I was pleased with the immediate, thorough, and POLITE responses to my queries.......keep up the good work guys!!! Happy New Year. |
How Many Months In A Year? Twelve? A Pro subscription lasts six months: twelve divided by six equals two and you first complained in January of this year. Which means that having paid for a Pro subscription once and found it unsatisfactory, you went ahead and did exactly the same thing again... Having said that, Ultracross' reply to your very first posting was pompous in the extreme. The use of an update website as opposed to an update button in the application is, in my experience, the exception rather than the rule. Equally, Ultracross' rudeness is also the exception: personally I have only received constructive (and effective) advice and haven't read anyone else being so off-hand. None the less Ultracross owes you an apology. All the same, the piquancy of your recent contributions is unlikely to garner a useful response. Although I'd be interested to read anything you directed at a more worthwhile opponent, at least you're amusing. Stick with the basic version, tune it up with the advice you'll find here and spend the money you save on your boyfriend! Regards. PS The address you want is spam "the fans choice". |
