Default Limewire and WMP

For some reason when i open limewire and windows media player at the same time my P.C slows considerably and crashes. does anyone know why.

not shure but if you try to let one program completly load before the other loads it might solve this problem and also wmp 11 might solve this issu it is an optional update to the windows xp os and is standard with the vista release candidates.

Thanks for the reply. but i just realized WMP11 might be the problem because it worked fine with WMP10. i'll install WMP10 again and see what happens.

I.ve just been experimenting with other programs and nothing works properly when running at the same time as limewire.

You may also need to adjust the amount of bandwidth you allow for LW. You can adjust it in LW options.

You should do a couple speed tests first, then back it off a little to leave some for doing other things.
