Limewire not opening properly
 

Hi,

I just recently downloaded limewire and i'm having problems opening it. Right now i get a message saying that "LimeWire.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." It is one of those error message service.

I push the debug button and out comes Microsoft Visual C++ which says that there's some access violation on a certain line. The C++ program points me to line "00402347 mov edx,dword ptr [edx+ecx*4]". I normally just open limewire by executing the program from here, but there has to be something wrong/corrupt with my download. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the problem is still happening.

Can anyone please help me here?

Try the fixes in this thread and use the offline installers for Limewire and Java...If you still have no luck, try deleting your .limewire folder, all the instructions on how to do this are in this thread....:rolleyes_2:
