Question Quicktime movies

i would like to know why all my movie type downloads are always coming in Quicktime format .mov. i can't play them in Windows Media Player. how can i get movies that will play in WMP format or even Realplayer format. also now i find a lot of the files are junk. if you download what you think is a good file, you get some stupid advertisement, not the file you thought you were getting. Limewire has gone down hill. used to be that when you downloaded a file it was a good file and what you wanted.
IF anyone knows how to convert these files successfully please email me at
thank you
Craig

You can filter out .mov files using the keyword filter (tools > options > filters > keywords). Have a look below for some more info
