Search results disappearing

Good morning all,

Need a hand with something.

I have had LimeWire for a while now and got PRO a few months ago. But recently I have noticed a change in my search results window.

Previously I used to search for something and would get, for instance, 50 results which would then remain in the search window. I could then click "get more results" (can't remember the exact wording) and these results would stay and be added to with any additional results that were found. If I clicked on the "get more.." link a few times then I could get more than 1000 individual lines.

However, when I now search for something I get far fewer results (the most now is up to 50 individual lines and this may then reduce down to 15) and the results change all of the time, with results being available and then not and then available again. I could understand that they may not be available all of the time, but in a 1 minute search they could disappear and re-appear numerous times. This makes it very difficult to choose which links to download. When I then click on "Get more results" the original results change some more and any new ones disappear in and out too.

Is there a setting that I need to change to keep my results static or some other change that I can make.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Rich

It could be your junk filter at work. It is detecting junk & so it appears in the screen for a moment & then disappears. If you want to be sure the junk filter is filtering out the correct stuff, go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Filters>Junk & set it to show at bottom of results. So then you can check. If there's anything that has the trash icon that you know for sure is not junk, then select it & press the trash icon button to designate it's not junk.

Many thanks,

I haven't even looked at the junk filter ever. I will try this when I get home.

Just seems a little wierd that it never used to do this, all results stayed, regardless of name / size etc.
