Win98 was due to the compatibility mode. I went through all of them. Just so happens that was the log for my 98 test. I don't see any differences so far in the move from 1.6 to 1.5.0_10 so far, memory usage is the same and my other java based programs don't seem to be effected at all. Thats another thing, only Limewire was effected by the Java version. And then, only Windows has that problem. My Linux and Mac computers have any problems what so ever. I'll just wait until the next release of java or Limewire to try again. Do you think the Pro version would work better? I might just buy it if the next release of Java or Limwire doesn't aid this problem. My router is set-up in a rather complex fashion. I have a few servers that need both UDP and TCP on some ports and their daemons are not UPnP compatible. I forward most of those ports to the servers and leave the UPnP on for the others. I also have QoS enabled and p2p traffic is a low priority. |
No. Solve your problems with LW Basic before considering LW Pro. I'm not sure what else to suggest. |
