If I were you I'd disable PestPatrol & use a decent spyware scanner. Both Ad-Aware SE & Spybot S&D are reliable and free, I use both. ad-ware __(FREE) Spybot - Search & Destroy __(FREE)
and there's also AVG antispyware (formerly Ewido) http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5
Your songs are all saved onto your HDD & unless you've changed the saving location they'll be in C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Shared. Check to see if they're in that folder!
What I would do is download LW again. Reinstall it. That will automatically uninstall the old version. Make sure to use the offline installer (not the recommended one). http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml |
