need help(corruted LW, no Pro download link)

i have limewire 4.12 and when i go to search for music or videos i get a page that said limewire might be corrupted,i have a official version of limewire llc,i went to upgrade and paid by debt but did not get no email to upgrade need help ,what the deal......the page said virus and trojan warning ?????????

Where did you get your limewire from and how much did you pay...
Also what AV and Spyware programs are you using...

i paid 18.88 and i went to www.limewire.com to get it i have cox high speed internet security av and spyware i also ran avg av and spyware did not get no virus or no trojan .......

Hmmm, I'd say it would have something to do with the cox security giving you a false reading...Cox are known to be anti p2p and shape and throttle it...
The only problem is that if you where to go ahead and ignore what your security is saying and you where to download a virus you wouldn't know if it was a real threat or not...

i dont thank its cox i have been had limewire for three years now and cox internet for about five years and its been working fine my sister has limewire and hers is doing the same,i would send a screen but dont know how,but still when i went to upgrade and used my debt card i got charged and no upgrade..... and my sister has earthlink

and do i have the latest limewire that is out 4.12.11 if so why did i get a upgrade notices... and it has not been six month from the last upgrade so it should have been free ..... am not rich and my money dose not grow on a tree...so dont just take mine

Settle down. WW doesn't work for LW & she's not trying to take your money.

If you have a payment dispute, please send a PM to limenathan. As long as you've paid Limewire LLC (from the official site), he should be able to sort things out for you.

What page said virus & trojan warning? Did you see the warning when you were using the original version of LW? Can you tell us exactly what the message was?

the page that got the audio,video,programs,images ect.when i go to the box to search and pull up audio,video ect. the top of the search box on the page has the orange tool bar that said only search results with a lock are official limewire communications.. and than it got for more info ... and when i click on more info ittake me to the page that has the virus and trojan warning,did not have the orange bar on the page till i went for the free upgrade....the page said we have received many warning of virus and trojan pretending to be limewire in your search results.you can only be sure a search result is a direct from limewire llc if it has a lock in the quality column.... if you have run such an update in the past limewire may be corrupted,you must update with the current official version available here to guarantee you are using the latest official limewire........
