Did you try to add songs from the shared 'limewire tunes' within iTunes? That's just a playlist, so you won't be able to add to the iTunes library from there.

Go to LW's library, click on Saved Files then click Explore. Your saved folder will open...add from there to the iTunes library. For more info, check out the sticky here;)

Add to the iTunes library from your saved folder. Read the sticky, it has heaps of info.

i read the sticky but it says nothing about if your songs dont sync and they have a ! next to them

The songs won't appear on your iPod when you sync it if they're not in the iTunes library. You'll see a ! next to songs if they're not in the iTunes library.

Did you add the songs from your saved folder to the iTunes library?

yes i draged them there but there is still a ! next to them

Ok, try adding to iTunes a different way. First of all, find out the location of your saved folder. In LW tools > options > saving shows the location.

Now in iTunes, go file > add file to library. Browse for your saved folder & then add files that way...does the ! go away? It should.

Another way to do it is by opening that saved folder (using Explore, like I told you earlier on) & playing a song with iTunes. Right click on a file in the saved folder > open with & choose iTunes to open the file. That should also add the file to the iTunes library. But it's a slow & clunky way to add songs!

could you give me a good location cause i have no idea where to save it sorry :)
