Browsing problems

Hi. I have an two odd browsing problems.

1st issue:
The search tabs refuse to close. I doesn't matter if I have one search or 10 searches open. The tab will close after many attempts at closing BUT, I can right click and immediately close searches that way. I never used to have to do that before.

2nd issue:
The search box refuses to become accessibile if I navigate away from it. The only quick way to get it to reappear is to right click on search and then the search box comes back.

What's going on? :bangh:

Sounds like things have become jumbled.

Follow these instructions exactly.
So, you need to Go, Start/All Programs/LimeWire n Uninstall all L/W versions.
Do Not Uninstall From Change or Remove Programs.
Re BOOT Your computer NOW.

Now Go to, Start/Search/click on all files n folders/more advanced options/
& make sure, case sensitive, is not ticked. (all other boxes should be ticked)
Now!!, Put limewire in box, (all or part of file name) & click search.
Delete everything found, including Prefetch folder, (I mean everything)
Re BOOT Your computer NOW.

Now! Go to,
START/Set Program Access/Change or Remove Programs,
now completely remove all versions of java.
Re BOOT Your computer NOW.

Now! Use this Link to get JRE 6, Use the off line installer, NOT the (recommended) one,
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
When Download is completed.
Disconnect from internet, close ALL apps n reinstall java.

Now!! Use this link to download latest L/W version using the off line installer
http://www.limewire.com/
If you need help, Shout, If it fixed your problem or not, Feedback helps others.
Peace

Thanks for the help. It still does it just not as often. It's not as difficult to control as before. Could be because one single Java file refused to delete, I guess. It was the jusched file.

Hi Pot.
Download this free antispywhare Program, Update it then boot in safe mode
& do a full scan, Delete all it finds.
That jusched file if you cant delete it, is a problem.
