I am having the same problem, but using the PRO version and my support time frame has run out.
I have tried all of the suggestions so far any others?
My problem started Sunday. I had LM Pro running all day saturday with NO problems, then I restarted the computer on sunday and ever since LM stay up for 2-3 minutes and shuts off
Thanks!

John Hi
How many Upload slots do you have set ?
In LimeWire,Tools/options/uploads/slots
If you have just started with L/W & only have slow speed try setting to 3 - 4

What is your connection speed ?

johnderegrn March 27th, 2007 10:12 AM

Well i have 5 slots for uploads set at minimum speed
Cable/DSL
8 downloads max bandwidth
Firewall is UPnP
No Proxy
and do not run on start-up

You say, "Well i have 5 slots for uploads set at minimum speed"
So are you saying, 5 slots for uploads set at 0kb, so you are not sharing anything.

What is your connection speed ?

What doies it matter right now? I set it that way to see if it would help or cure the problem, but apparently someone is more worried about sharing.. Thanks!
